Saturday 2 December - GH3 Xmas Party
You should already have this date in your diary for what promises to be a fantastic party at West Horsley village hall. Great food, free drink and a live band all for £20. An absolute bargain and one not to be missed. Flyers will be given out soon to fill in and book your place, so watch out for them, fill them in and get them back ASAP. It's a great way to begin the festivities and we want as many of you as possible to be there to join in the fun.

Christmas Pantomime
We're considering a trip out to the pant this year and would like to poll opinion as to whether enough of a group is interested to try and organise a trip. On offer this year is Cinderella at the New Victoria Theatre in Woking starring Patrick Duffy and Susan Hampshire or Snow White at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford starring Stephanie Beacham. For all those who like to heckle in the circle after the run, this is a priceless opportunity to try and disrupt a D-list celebrity in the throes of desperation so much that they forget their lines.

Charity Santa Dash 3 December 2006
The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice at Farnham (covers Guildford, Godalming, Farnham and North Hants areas) have a sponsored charity run at the Spectrum, Guildford 11am Sunday 3 December 2006. Nine laps of the running track dressed as Santa (costume provided and a goody bag}. Entry £10 - adults £3 - juniors, see me Monday next for an entry form. They encourage entrants to try and raise £25+ in sponsorship money but anything is a bonus. Don't be shy, excuses like 'Ill look a prat' won't wash, as a} no-one will recognise you and b) you wouldn't be hashing in the first place if that was a concern! Specky

GH3 WALK 2007 A DORSET DODDLE Sat 2nd JUNE 2007
Another opportunity to spend your day with old ruins and Jurassic fossils. Only 21/2 hrs drive from Guildford, your accommodation could be in Corfe Castle.
The walk will include stunning coastal views (subject to topless bathing by grockles, availability of appropriate optical devices and atmospheric conditions) covering 20 miles of bucolic alcoholic bliss during which you can meditate on the meaning of the meaning of life by sitting like a git in a stone circle and looking out to sea.
